Wachovia Securities has promoted Randall J. Schievella to assistant branch office manager. He will continue to serve in the Colchester office. Pop Color East announced the appointment of Didier Delmas as staff photographer. He was president of Delmas Digital Studios in Burlington. Jager Di Paola Kemp Design named Deena Suh senior designer for the firm. She was a graphic designer with 2X4, a New York City studio. The Verterre Group Inc., with corporate offices in Colchester, has opened a branch in Portsmouth, N.H. The environmental and geotechnical engineering consulting firm was created as Twin State Environmental Corp. in 1993. Vermont Inspection Services Inc. of South Burlington has changed its name to VIS Construction Consultants. The company provides construction inspections to owners, design professionals, attorneys, municipalities, Realtors and financial institutions. Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center has added two senior staff members: Rob Smart, business development manager, and Cindy Fessel, financial manager. Burlington College announced staff and faculty appointments. Christa Hen-derson was appointed admissions coordinator. Nora Mitchell was named general studies chairwoman. She was on the faculty of Goddard College. Robert A. Rice was named acting president. He has been the college's director of administration and finance and academic dean. Cathleen Sullivan was promoted to admissions director. She was associate director. Matthew S. Borick of Concord, N.H., and Daniel P. Smith of Montpelier have joined the law firm of Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC as associates in the Burlington office. Borick was a law clerk for New Hampshire Supreme Court Justice James E. Duggan. Smith was assistant to General Counsel Susanne Young in Gov. James Douglas' office. Laura B. Lyle was hired as staff accountant for the Vermont Mutual Group in Montpelier. She was with Gratiot Health System of Alma, Mich. Grippin, Donlan & Roche PLC, Certified Public Accountants, hired Kaj Samson as staff accountant and Ursula J. Boehringer, CPA, as audit manager. John Hunt, executive vice president of Coburn & Feeley Property Management Inc. of Burlington, announced that Stephanie Allen has joined the firm as assistant property manager at South Meadow Apartments in Burlington. Bilodeau Wells & Co. PC, Certified Public Accountants in Essex Junction, announced the promotion of Peter A. Kranz, CPA, to staff supervisor. He has been with the firm since 2000. Banknorth Vermont announced that John Weixel will head the regional commercial lending team for the Bennington/Manchester area. He was with Granite Bank in Barre. The bank announced several corporate title changes and staff promotions. Named officers were Robynn Albert, Sarah Guilmette and Ben Sawyer. Named assistant vice president were Larry Baxter, Adam Blake, Kathy Frazier, Sheila Ginter, Lura Greene, Melinda Higbee, Chris Johnson, George Patch, Laurie Reilly, William Root and Terri Whelan.
