Linda S. Walsh was named director of marketing for Haystack Club in Wilmington. Walsh was an executive with Warner Brothers Records in New York. Christopher C. Shaddock Jr. was appointed director of sales. He was with Okemo Mountain Resort’s Jackson Gore Real Estate Development Co. and the Killington Grand Hotel.

KeyBank announced the promotion of Mary Pat Devine to vice president and portfolio/credit officer for the bank’s Northeast region. Devine is responsible for research, analysis and structuring of credit for clients in New York, Vermont and Maine. She is based in the regional headquarters in Albany, N.Y. Michael D. Thibault was named business banking manager at Key’s St. Albans branch. He was market manager for Chittenden Bank in St. Albans.

Linda Wheeler was named the director of the new Conference and Event Center at Champlain College. The center is a one-stop shop that coordinates services and amenities for conferences and group events. Wheeler was the owner of a meeting planning business called The Virtual Office for 14 years.

Erin Saunders has joined Hampton Direct importing and distribution firm in Williston as a product sourcing assistant. Sanders graduated from Champlain College in May 2006 with a degree in marketing management. Harvey Mayo joined the company as retail sales account representative. He was with Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. in Burlington. Sean Zigmund was named information technology administrator. Zigmund was with C&S Wholesale Grocers, and worked at Hampton Direct from 2003 to 2005.

Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs of Williston hired Elizabeth Jourdain as staff accountant. Jourdain earned a bachelor of commerce with a double major in accounting and finance from St. Mary’s University Sobey School of Business in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was with a company in the Maritimes.

Christopher Ashby was named director of sales and marketing for the Champlain Valley Exposition. Ashby worked in broadcasting. He replaces George Rousseau, who retired after 19 years.

Tony Blake, founder and principal broker at V/T Commercial Real Estate and Business Brokerage, announced the addition of Bradford J. Worthen as client development associate. Worthen was director of marketing for REM Development Co. in Williston.

Opportunities Credit Union has appointed a three individuals to manage its small business and mortgage lending departments. Greg Huysman, small business lending manager, has 10 years’ banking experience, most recently at TD Banknorth. Will Hamilton, credit analyst, was with Bombardier Capital in Vermont and Florida. Erika Glidden, mortgage originator, has nine years’ banking experience with financial institutions in Maine and Connecticut.

Sovernet Communications announced several staffing changes. Eileen Maloney was named project manager. She was with Burlington Telecom. Shauna Mackerer, account manager, has more than 10 years’ experience in sales, most recently with Conversent Communications and Lightship Telecom. Jakob Ragnarsson was promoted to the position of network engineer. He has been with the company for six years.

Anthony Wilson, RN, was named director of primary care at Maple Leaf Farm in Underhill. He specializes in addictions and psychiatry. Becky Beaucage was hired as an administrative assistant. She has more than 20 years of experience.

Heather L. Lemon was promoted to officer at Bancnorth Investment Group Inc. in Burlington. As a sales specialist, she provides resources and support to 12 investment representatives in Vermont and New York. She joined TD Banknorth in 2005. Bancnorth offers securities and insurance products through the branch offices of TD Banknorth N.A.

Downs Rachlin Martin announced that five lawyers have joined the firm. In the Burlington office are Sarah L. Rugnetta, Jonathan T. Rose, Michael J. Wasco and Mari M. McClure. Rugnetta and Rose work in employment and labor law. Rugnetta was a law clerk with the superior and district courts in Franklin and Grand Isle counties; Rose is a recent Vermont Law School graduate. Wasco, who has joined the property practice group, worked as an engineer in the semiconductor, scientific and pharmaceutical industries before entering law school in 2003. McClure, who has joined the business law practice group, was with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Buffalo, N.Y. Joining the Montpelier  government affairs group was Stefanie L. Swanson. She was with a Phoenix law firm.

Daniel A. Webster has joined The Bulfinch Group, an insurance and investment firm in Needham, Mass., as a financial representative. Webster is president of Webstone Financial in South Burlington and will operate as a satellite office of the Bulfinch Group. Webster was district manager of New England Financial in Colchester.

The law offices of Dinse, Knapp & McAndrew PC announced that three attorneys have joined the firm. Linda J. Cohen has joined the firm of counsel. She is a health care attorney and served with the health care administration division of Vermont Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities and Health Care Administration. Amy Wood is a litigation attorney advising clients on regulatory and litigation matters. She was law clerk to the Honorable Ben W. Joseph in Chittenden Superior Court. David Gurtman practices with the business group with an emphasis on real estate and corporate transactions. He was a law clerk for the Vermont trial courts in Chittenden and Addison counties.

Von Bargen’s Jewelry of Burlington announced the appointment of David J. Roberts as sales manager. Roberts was with Shreve, Crump and Low in Boston.

Jon Isaacson joined Caleidoscope Com-munications as the controller. Isaacson was employed by RingMaster Software.

City Lights has moved from 3 Main Street in Burlington to Clock Tower Square at the corner of Shelburne Road and Bacon Street. The store occupies the entire first floor. Yves Bradley (pictured) of Pomerleau Real Estate represented Mike and Jill Diemer, owners and developers. Brad Hume (right), the owner of City Lights, represented himself.

Following a national search, Greg Hooker was named general manager of Goddard College’s community radio station, WGDR 91.1 FM. Hooker was with The Point Radio Network/WNCS-WRJT-WDOT-FM and has more than 20 years’ experience in Vermont radio.

Carol Berry, co-founder and chief operating officer of the Natural Pasta Co. LLC doing business as Putney Pasta, announced the hiring of Greg Royal as vice president of sales. Royal was director of sales for the Pacific Northwest and northern California at United Natural Foods Inc.
