A to Z Embroidery, owned by Leslie and Stuart Offer, was sold to Hearthside Creations Inc., owned by George and Susan Wachob of Hinesburg. A to Z  has been relocated from Williston to Hinesburg. John Stimets of CBI—Country Business Inc. managed the sale.

Heather Listenik and her father, Henry Listenik, who also owns KJ Construction in Essex Junction, purchased Twigs et Fleurs at 171 Battery St. in Burlington. Heather has a degree in business management from Western State College of Colorado and a diploma in floral design from Rittners Floral Design School. Twigs et Fleurs is a high-end flower shop with a garden/European style. The shop also carries household plants, candles, vases and gift items. 864-7565.

Biomass Commodities Corp. of St. Johnsbury leased the grain storage and loading facilities of the historic E.T. & H.K. Ide Building in St. Johnsbury as a distribution base for wood pellets. The move puts the grain elevator back in operation after being idle for eight years. Jock Gill of Peacham, co-founder of the corporation, made the announcement. Biomass installs systems for large and small institutions and has projects underway in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Synergy Software Technologies Inc. of Burlington announced that it has merged with one of its chief competitors in the health and human services software area, Harmony Information Systems Inc. of Reston, Va. The merged company will retain the Harmony name and headquarters. Synergy’s Burlington location remains fully intact. Tonya Harmon will remain CEO of Harmony in Reston, while Synergy’s co-founders, Stan Eames and Dave Dapkiewicz, will continue in senior leadership roles in Burlington.

Phase Forward, a provider of data management solutions for clinical trials and drug safety based in Waltham, Mass., announced that it has acquired Green Mountain Logic of Montpelier in an all-cash transaction. Green Mountain, founded in 1998, will continue to operate from its Vermont offices. John Rosenblum, its president, will become a Phase Forward vice president responsible for GML’s products.

New Breed Marketing of Winooski announced the launch of its first European office in London. Amir Mirza, Ph.D., was named managing director of the London office, where he will head new business development and operations. 

Glen Brandon and Ray Fournier sold their business, St. Albans Glass, to Cornerstone Holdings Inc. St. Albans Glass is a large commercial glass contractor. John Beal of Vermont Business Brokers listed and sold the business.

The Vermont Agency of Human Services leased 14,732 square feet of office space at 101 Cherry St. in Burlington from General Growth Partners. Bill Kiendl of V/T Commercial assisted both parties.

Grand View Farms leased space on the third floor of the Smith Building at 186 College St. in Burlington to Court Reporters Associates. Bill Kiendl of V/T Commercial assisted both parties.

Ronald Roe sold Annette’s Playschool to PalMar Enterprises Inc. Annette’s Playschool has child-care facilities in Hinesburg and Williston. Sharon Beal of Vermont Business Brokers was the selling broker, and John Beal was the listing broker.

The USIS Investigation Services of the federal government leased temporary office space at 33 Blair Park in Williston from the Hugh Bower Revocable Trust. Tony Blake of V/T Commercial represented the landlord, and Yves Bradley of Pomerleau Real Estate represented the tenant.

Timberlane Dental leased 1,320 square feet of office space at 1855 Williston Road in South Burlington from O’Brien Brothers Agency. Brad Worthen of V/T Commercial assisted the tenant.

Kevin Staudt Inc. bought Vermont Commercial Warehousing Inc., a warehousing and fulfillment operation in Williston. John Beal of Vermont Business Brokers was the listing and selling broker.

Cx Associates, a LEED- and sustainable-building consulting company, located its home offices at 119 Main St. in Burlington. Tony Blake of V/T Commercial assisted the tenant, and Steve Donahue of Donahue & Associates assisted the landlord, Brick Box Co.

Geotech Environmental Equipment Inc. leased 2,000 square feet of commercial space on Tigan Street in Winooski from Catamount East Development Co. David Jacobs of Redstone represented Catamount East.

David Jacobs and Doug Nedde of Redstone were co-listing and selling brokers representing Farrell Vending Services Inc. in the sale of a 12,000-square-foot building at 150 Krupp Drive in Williston. The buyer was Bartlett Realty LLC.

Beezco Inc., the Audette family’s corporation, opened The Hideaway at Cornerstone Commons, a family-run restaurant in Essex Junction. It is located at the site of the former Eclipse Grill and is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday. Justin Martin of Pomerleau represented the owner, Roger Villemaire. 10 Kellogg Road.

Arex Nguyen of Huyhoant Inc. sold the Bamboo House Restaurant business at 139 Lake St. in St. Albans to Christian Smith. The sale includes a long-term lease on the building with options. Peter Yee of Redstone was the listing broker and procured the buyer, who plans to open a 1980s-themed, American family-style restaurant.

Burton Snowboards has bought the 88,000-square-foot industrial building on 9 acres at 152 Industrial Parkway in Burlington, adjoining its headquarters property at 80 Industrial Parkway. Neville Companies, which assisted throughout the purchase process, has negotiated a partial termination of the lease held by General Dynamics to allow Burton to secure the north half of the building for future growth. General Dynamics is expected to remain in the south side of the building.

David Grippin, CPA, CVA, managing partner of Grippin, Donlan & Roche PLC, announced that the CPA tax and consulting practice of CL Associates LLC has become part of Grippin, Donlan & Roche. The owner, Claire LaVoie, CPA, will continue to manage accounts of her clients and others as a member of GD&R’s professional group. She has over 27 years’ public accounting experience and is a commercial mediator and arbitrator.

Barre Lodge, #139 The Loyal Order of Moose, sold the Moose Club site at 328 North Main St. in Barre to Granite Hills Credit Union of Barre. Tim Burke of David G. White & Associates Inc. represented the buyer; Barrett Gregoire of Leonel Gregoire Real Estate represented the seller.

Linda I. Letourneau of Redstone was the listing and leasing broker representing Constantine Poulos, the owner of 200 Main St. in Burlington, in leasing two small offices spaces: one to Suzanne Johnson and one to Lincoln Brown.

Simon Pozi, the owner of The Cheese Outlet Fresh Market at 398 Pine St. in Burlington, has sold it to Honeytree Foods Inc., owned by Robert Lichorwic. Lichorwic has relocated from Florida and plans to maintain the current product lines. Tony Blake of V/T Commercial assisted both parties.

Wilbur Smith Associates has leased 2,328 square feet at 95 St. Paul St. in Burlington. Tim Burke of David G. White & Associates Inc. was the leasing broker for the tenant.

Linda I. Letourneau of Redstone was the listing and leasing broker representing Sizzling Sausage LLC in a lease with Isotech North America Inc. for 3,200 square feet of office/flex space at 158 Brentwood Drive at Exit 17 in Colchester.

The Solo Cup property at 15-19 Lower Newton St. in St. Albans was sold to the city of St. Albans. The120,500-square-foot former manufacturing facility was vacated about 16 months ago. Tony Blake and Jed Dousevicz of V/T Commercial and Steve Donahue of Donahue & Associates assisted the parties.

Woodlot Alternatives, a 65-person consulting firm in Topsham, Maine, joined Stantec. Woodlot specializes in natural resource assessment, permitting and environmental engineering from offices in Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont (South Burlington). Woodlot’s president, John P. Lortie, will continue as a Stantec vice president. This marks Stantec’s third acquisition in Maine in the last two years.

Core Studio has leased 1,387 square feet of studio space at 431 Pine St. in Burlington from The Maltex Partnership. Linda I. Letourneau of Redstone and Yves Bradley of Pomerleau Real Estate represented the owner; Jed Dousevicz of V/T Commercial represented the tenant.

Brad Worthen of V/T Commercial announced that Beltone New England executed a lease for 1,338 square feet at 1860 Williston Road in South Burlington. 

Global Sourcing Group Inc. leased 1,174 square feet of office space at 431 Pine St. in Burlington from The Maltex Partnership. Linda I. Letourneau of Redstone and Yves Bradley of Pomerleau Real Estate were the listing and leasing brokers representing the owner.

Synergy Counseling Group has leased 1,250 square feet of office space at 564 West Twin Oaks Drive in South Burlington. Duncan Harris of Redstone represented the tenant; Rick Harrison of J.L. Davis Realty represented the owner.

Natural Provisions Inc., a health food store, leased 10,032 square feet of retail space on the first floor of 329 Harvest Lane in Williston from Allen Brook Development Inc. Rick Harrison of J.L. Davis Realty was the listing broker, and Rachel DiGiammarino of Redstone was the leasing broker.

Butson Hotel Management LLC leased 850 square feet of office space at 400 Cornerstone Drive, Suite 233, Taft Farms Village Center in Williston from Allen Brook Development Inc. Rick Harrison of J.L. Davis Realty was the listing broker, and Tim Burke and Stephanie Hainley of David G. White & Associates were the leasing brokers.

Larry Sudbay, president and chief executive officer of SymQuest Group Inc., announced the creation of a 4,000-square-foot, secure, state-of-the-art network operations center at the company’s South Burlington headquarters. The space allows for new work-group stations for 22 members of the networking team — project engineers — and cost more than $100,000 to build.

Coalision U.S.A., the U.S. office for a Canadian company retailing and manufacturing ski wear under the brand names Orage and Lole, leased 3,406 square feet of space at the Maltex Building, 431 Pine St. in Burlington. Yves E. Bradley of Pomerleau Real Estate and Linda I. Letourneau of Redstone were the listing brokers.

Sprout Inc. has leased 2,400 square feet of space at 110 Church St. in Burlington. Sprout is a retail store featuring baby, child and parent items. Yves E. Bradley of Pomerleau Real Estate was the listing broker, and Duncan Harris of Redstone was the leasing broker.

Luce Ventures has purchased the assets of the former Cannon’s Restaurant at the Ethan Allen Shopping Center on North Avenue in Burlington and will open a restaurant. Tony Blake of V/T Commercial assisted the buyer and seller.

Will Lowry bought the former Auggie’s Island Grill at 213 College St. in Burlington. Lowry opened Bueno Y Sano, a restaurant selling healthy burritos and southwest fare, in the 1,868-square-foot space. Yves E. Bradley of Pomerleau Real Estate was the selling broker. Wild Mountain Wings Inc. leased 2,300 square feet at 150 Dorset St., Suite 255, in South Burlington to open Wings Over Burlington, offering delivery and take-out service of chicken wings. Vermont Attorneys Title Corp. has leased 2,500 square feet of office space at Maple Tree Place in Williston. Bill Kiendl of V/T Commercial assisted both parties. He and Yves Bradley of Pomerleau Real Estate are co-exclusive listing agents.

Data Innovations of South Burlington announced that Data Innovations Europe has acquired P.G.P. Data Innovations Europe and P.G.P. are based in Brussels, Belgium. The move positions Data Innovations as the world’s largest laboratory middleware company.

Marsha Kincheloe, the owner of Grakles craft and antiques store in Barre, announced the shop’s expansion into more spacious quarters at 166 N. Main St. Grakles receives most of its stock from 65 consignees. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.

Mackenzie Architects P.C. has bought the office building at 162 Battery St. in Burlington. The practice has moved into the historic building, located on the waterfront between Main and King streets. 863-7177; www.mackenziearchitects.com.

As the leasing agent representing Malone Properties Inc., Peter Yee of Redstone procured Annette Besaw of AB Transformations as the tenant of 2,500 square feet of retail space at 358 Dorset St. in South Burlington. Besaw will open an interior design/retail furniture business.

Tim Ayer, a principal of the Noyle Johnson Group of Montpelier, announced the company’s merger with Berg Carmolli and Kent, a property and casualty insurance agency in Barre. The Barre firm will continue to operate at its current location at 83 Washington St. as Berg Carmolli and Kent, and staff will remain in place under the current management.

John Rocha and Joseph Brusatto, co-owners of Prata Holdings LLC of Alpine, Calif., leased 2,600 square feet of distribution space from Mathias Dubilier of Weaver Properties in Winooski. Brad Worthen of V/T Commercial represented the tenant, and Esther Lotz of Esther Lotz Real Estate assisted the landlord.

HBRA Building LLC bought a 2,200-square-foot office building on 50 acres at 136 James Brown Drive in Williston from David and Catherine Houston. Rick Harrison of J.L. Davis Realty was the listing broker, and Greg Dirmaier of J.L. Davis was the selling broker.

Esther Lotz of HighPoint Realty announced that Green Mountain Coffee Roasters has signed a lease for 87,000 square feet with REM Development Co.

Sisters & Brothers Inc. bought a nine-unit apartment complex in Richmond from 3455 E. Main Street LLC. Jed Dousevicz of V/T Commercial represented the seller.

Duncan Harris of Redstone represented Gerald Wilcox in the sale of an industrial condominium — a 3,000-square-foot flex unit with an additional 400 square feet of mezzanine office space — at 55 Leroy Road in Williston. Harris also procured the buyer, Jamie Shaw.

Daybreak Intellectual Capital Solutions Inc. has leased 8,794 square feet of office space on the third floor of 329 Harvest Lane in Williston from Allen Brook Development Inc. Rick Harrison of J.L. Davis Realty was the listing and leasing broker.

Goodwill Industries of Northern New England has leased 22,707 square feet of retail, office and warehouse space at 329 Harvest Lane in Williston from Allen Brook Development Inc. Rick Harrison of J.L. Davis Realty was the listing broker, and Esther Lotz of HighPoint Realty and Greg Dirmaier of J.L. Davis were the selling brokers.

Marle-Bone LLC bought an 1,800-square-foot office building on 30 acres at 31-33 Patchen Road in South Burlington from HBRA Building LLC. Greg Dirmaier of J.L. Davis Realty was the listing broker, and Rick Harrison of J.L. Davis was the selling broker.

David and Catherine Houston bought a 13,600-square-foot industrial/commercial building on 1 acre at 78 Ethan Allen Drive in South Burlington from PROM Real Estate LLC. Esther Lotz of HighPoint Realty was the listing broker, and Rick Harrison of J.L. Davis Realty was the selling broker.

Edward D. Jones & Co. leased a 958-square-foot retail/service space at Shelburne Square, 41 IDX Drive in South Burlington from Plaza Investments LP. Rick Harrison of J.L. Davis Realty was the listing and leasing broker.

David Jacobs of Redstone was the leasing broker, and Doug Nedde of Redstone was the listing broker representing VF Partnership in the leasing of 2,655 square feet of office and production space at 34 Blair Park in Williston. The tenant is Micro Wire Transmissions Systems Inc., which manufactures and distributes specialty electronic cabling products.

NESCO, a national electrical distributor based in Massachusetts, announced that it has acquired Yankee Electric Supply of Winooski, with branches in Morrisville and in Lebanon and Woodsville, N.H. Yankee Electric Supply will continue to operate under its name as “a division of NESCO, Needham Electric Supply.” Yankee was founded in 1985. Its president and CEO, Pat Reilly, is retiring.

Downs Rachlin Martin PLLC announced it has agreed to incorporate the general civil practice of Daschbach, Csatari & Young PLLC of Lebanon, N.H., into the DRM practice. The Lebanon office will become DRM’s second New Hampshire office and seventh overall. Attorneys Joseph F. Daschbach, Thomas C. Csatari and Wayne R. Young and their staff members will continue their law practice in the DRM Lebanon office. Six DRM attorneys will assume new responsibilities in the Upper Valley office. They are Kimberly M. Butler, Eric D. Jones, Nancy S. Malmquist, Robert A. Miller, Peter D. Van Oot and James G. Wheeler.

Windows & Doors by Brownell of Williston announced the opening of a showroom at 795 State Route 3 in Plattsburgh, N.Y. The new location offers retail and installed sales of Marvin windows and doors. 

Paul Perrault, chairman, president and CEO of Chittenden Corp., announced an agreement was reached with People’s United of Connecticut to acquire Chittenden for $1.9 billion.

 Stowe Country Homes vacation rental management company announced that Alison Karosas, former operations director, has purchased the business from longtime Stowe resident Mary Beth Quinn. Quinn owned the business, previously known as Stowe Country Rentals, since 1999. The company employs seven.

Peter Yee of Redstone acted as a buyer broker representing Adam Spell in the purchase of a 20-unit apartment complex consisting of three buildings on Maple Street in St. Albans. P.J. Poquette of Paul Poquette Realty was the listing agent representing the seller, Shawn Mesick.

 Sam Palmisano, the owner of the former Five Spice Café, leased space to open an Italian bistro at 100 Dorset St. in South Burlington. Tony Blake of V/T Commercial assisted Palmisano and Century Partners, the landlord.

Jim and Janelle Fuller of South Burlington have purchased Vermont Campers, a company offering an economical and environmentally friendly choice in RV rentals, such as the Volkswagen Westfalia camper. The company also offers camping equipment such as lanterns, sleeping bags, car seats for children; airport pickup; and long-term rentals.

Vermont Business Brokers represented Jansen Enterprises, the owner of Roy’s Housing in the sale of business and commercial property in Highgate Center to Home Sweet Homes Inc.  John Beal of Vermont Business Brokers marketed and sold the business and real estate.

Brownway Inc. sold a 9,800-square-foot building and property in Richmond to Court Associates. The property had been a 17-room Level III care facility. John Beal of Vermont Business Brokers was the listing broker and Sharon Beal of Vermont Business Brokers was the selling broker.

Cheese Traders & Wine Sellers, owned by Nancy Wright and Steve Lidle for 16 years, was sold to Robert and Luz Marina Bachofen and Charles and Anna Alexander of Manchester. The store is the state’s largest cheese and wine retailer. John Stimets of CBI-Country Business Inc. managed the sale.

Vermont Business Brokers represented Bonsai Catering, the owner of Conoscenti’s Restaurant in Montpelier to Aaron and Debra Million. They have changed the name to Restaurant Phoebe. Sharon Beal of Vermont Business Brokers was the listing and selling broker.

APS Healthcare, in conjunction with the state of Vermont, leased 12,129 square feet at 208 Hurricane Lane in Williston from Hillside Properties. APS is a national provider of specialty health-care solutions covering 20 million members. The state has awarded the company a three-year contract. Tony Blake of V/T Commercial represented APS.

John and Karen Goettleman sold The Storm Cafe on Otter Creek in Middlebury to John Hughes. John Beal of Vermont Business Brokers was the listing broker, and Sharon Beal was the selling broker.

Paul A. Perrault, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Chittenden Corp., announced the completion of the company’s acquisition of Merrill Merchants Bancshares Inc., with headquarters in Bangor, Maine. 

Vermont Country Properties, Sotheby’s International Realty, has leased 1,075 square feet of office space at 4066 Shelburne Road, part of Shelburne Commons. Doug Nedde of Redstone was the listing and leasing broker representing Catamount/Shelburne LLC.

Green Mountain Engineering Inc. of Williston announced the completion of ownership transition from Brent C. Whitney to Alan Huizenga, P.E., of Bristol. Huizenga has more than 24 years’ experience in civil and environmental engineering. He will serve as president and treasurer of the corporation. Current staff were retained.

Bebop Baby Shop, a boutique for children and maternity wear, leased 1,340 square feet of retail space at 167 Pearl St. in Essex Junction. Meg McGovern (left) of Donahue & Associates was the listing and leasing agent in the transaction representing Jim Ewing Property Management Inc.

The tenant is Natural Provisions Inc., a health food store. The owner is Mark Grenier, who operates another store in St. Johnsbury. An August opening is planned.

Acoy and Samantha Cofino bought 52 Harbor Road in Shelburne with plans to open a community café and juice bar. Duncan Harris of Redstone represented the buyers; Dan Bokan of Lang McLaughry Spera represented the sellers.

Peter Yee of Redstone was the listing and selling agent in the sale of a 2,430-square-foot warehouse building at 21 Oak St. in Burlington to Chris Mason of Champlain Industries, a construction and renovation company.

Stantec announced that it has acquired the assets of Boston firm Geller DeVellis Inc. and that the Geller employees have joined the company. The transaction adds approximately 50 employees to Stantec’s growing New England operations and increases the Boston office to more than 65 people.

Dealer.com, an Internet marketing firm for the automobile industry, has bought a 61,000-square-foot commercial building on Pine Street in Burlington — the former site of Specialty Filaments. Doug Nedde of Redstone was the listing and selling broker representing Catamount/Middlebury LLC in the sale.

Champlain College has leased property on Rue Sherbrooke in Montreal to operate a study-abroad campus in the heart of the city. Champlain’s is believed to be the first American campus in Montreal. Ten courses will be offered there this fall; students will pay the same tuition and residence hall rates charged in Vermont. Up to 30 students are expected to study there in the fall.

Kari Bradley, general manager of Hunger Mountain Co-op in Montpelier, announced the market is moving with a $2.6 million expansion/renovation project. Repro Digital of Winooski and Champlain Valley Printing of South Burlington announced the merging of their businesses. Champlain Valley Printing will relocate from its San Remo Drive location in South Burlington to the offices of Repro Digital and Reprographics of New England at 450 Weaver St. in Winooski.

Three of New England’s oldest real estate firms, Lang Associates, McLaughry Real Estate and Pall Spera Co., have merged to form the largest real estate company in Vermont and northern New Hampshire, and the third-largest independent real estate company in New England. The announcement was made by the firms’ principals, Staige Davis of Lang Associates, Buff McLaughry of McLaughry Real Estate and Pall Spera of Pall Spera Co. Davis is the new firm’s chief executive officer; McLaughry is chief operating officer; Spera is president of the luxury brand. New Hampshire offices are in Hanover, West Lebanon and Grantham; Vermont offices are in Fairlee, Middlebury, Morrisville, Norwich, South Burlington, St. Albans, Stowe and Woodstock.

Kevin Tibbits, president and chief executive officer of Kinney Pike Insurance Inc., announced that his company has bought the wood products business portion of the commercial lines division of Johnson Insurance of Middlebury. Lewis Castle and Angela Moncrieff founded the Johnson Agency in 1997 with partner Peter Hood. It is loosely affiliated with the Noyle Johnson Agency of Montpelier, in which Hood is also a principal. Castle and Moncrieff have joined Kinney Pike as employees. Johnson Insurance sold its remaining small commercial accounts and its personal lines side of the agency to Holden Financial in Brandon, which will absorb two other employees.

The historic Wells-Richardson Building, two abutting buildings at 115 to 125 College St. in downtown Burlington, has new owners. Secure Financial Services Inc. of Essex Junction, a provider of analytic solutions for the legal and securities marketplace, has acquired Scales Consulting Group, a Memphis, Tenn., company that provides litigation support and expert witness services for clients engaged in securities arbitration, litigation and mediation. The announcement was made by James Bushey, founder and chairman of Secure Financial. Steve Scales will direct the company’s expert division from Memphis.

TD Bank Financial Group and TD Banknorth Inc. have entered into a merger agreement providing for the acquisition by the Financial Group of all the outstanding shares of common stock of TD Banknorth, which will become a wholly owned subsidiary of TD Bank Financial Group. TD Banknorth’s board of directors has unanimously approved the merger agreement. 

Neville Companies Inc. announced that Osgood Hart Properties has sold 30 Kimball Ave. in South Burlington to Kimball Partners LLC. John Wilking, president of Neville Companies, and Roger Tyler, vice president of Boston operations for Neville, are managing members in Kimball Partners. Neville Companies moved its Vermont offices to the property, which it will manage.

Dennis Clancy, the founder of Great Big Graphics Inc. of Morrisville, has sold the business to Shannon Matthew Long and Julie Ruth of Montgomery Center. The sign and graphics business opened in 1980. The new owners are professional artists and designers with custom sign experience. Ralph Monticello of Pall Spera Co. coordinated the sale. Clancy will stay on for one month and will consult after that period. All three employees are staying with the company.

Chuck and Katie Colvin, owners of the Journal Press Inc. in Poultney, announced they have sold the business to Bob Peeler, the owner of Marus Printing in Hartland. Journal Press has been in the Colvin family since 1946, but the company’s history dates to the 19th century weekly, the Northern Spectator, which employed legendary newspapermen Horace Greeley (founder of the New York Herald Tribune) and George Jones, who later established The New York Times. The Journal Press’ location and staff will remain the same.

The Vermont chapter of The Nature Conservancy announced the acquisition and conservation of a 28-acre parcel in the town of Pownal that includes an old limestone quarry on the southern flank of Quarry Hill. With this recent addition, the Conservancy now owns a total of 88.7 acres in the North Pownal Hills.

Maximus Inc., a company providing management and operations services to state and local governments, has expanded its office space at 101 Cherry St. in Burlington by 2,237 square feet. Bill Kiendl of V/T Commercial represented the landlord, General Growth Properties, and assisted both parties in the transaction.

Justin Martin of Hickok & Boardman Commercial Realty was the leasing agent representing Pinewood Manor Inc. in two lease transactions at 57 River Road in Essex: for 930 square feet of office space to AAXA Discount Mortgage; and for 425 square feet of office space to Frank W. Whitcomb Construction Corp.

Justin Martin of Hickok & Boardman Commercial Realty was the sub-leasing agent representing Performance Chiropractic Inc. in the leasing of 1,206 square feet of retail space at 4 Carmichael St., Suite 108, Essex, to The Dog and Cat pet food and supply store.

Doug Nedde of Redstone was the listing and leasing broker representing Shelburne Inn, 5247 Shelburne Road in Shelburne, in two lease transactions. Vermont Pure Financial Inc. leased 227 square feet of office space. Back in Balance, operated by chiropractor Mary Spicer, leased 728 square feet.

Sam Palmisano, former executive chef of Ye Olde England Inne in Stowe and former chef de cuisine at Villa Tragara Ristorante in Waterbury Center, has bought Five Spice Café at 175 Church St. in Burlington. The sellers were the Asian restaurant’s founders, Ginger Hobbs and Jerry Weinberg. Tony Blake of V/T Commercial assisted both parties.

Jeff Wolfe, the CEO of groSolar, a national solar energy firm in White River Junction, announced that the company has acquired Energy Outfitters, a solar energy distribution company in Oregon. groSolar was founded in 1998 by Jeff and Dorothy Wolfe as Global Resource Options. Its stated dedication is “to foster personal and corporate energy independence and help reverse global warming.” Jeff Wolfe is the CEO. Energy Outfitters’ owners will remain actively involved in the business.
