Amy Nolan of Got Local Kitchens supplies muffins made with Vermont-grown and milled wheat and cornmeal, carrots, zucchini, apples and berries. JanuaryFarmhouse Creativity CentreStowe artist Robin Fine has opened the Farmhouse Creativity Centre, offering visual arts education classes with local and nationally known artists, in Stowe’s Lower Village. Local First VermontIn Montpelier, a group of business owners and community leaders launched Local First Vermont, a statewide business organization with a goal of changing consumer attitudes. NextelBill and Judy Brim opened their Nextel store in Middlebury with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
