Pomerleau Properties Inc. has formed a new division, Pomerleau Business Services (PBS), managed by Charlie Poulin. PBS is a business broker, facilitating the sale and purchase of existing companies as well as assisting firms with their business plans and financing options. Poulin was executive vice president/COO at Bank of Vermont in Burlington. He has also served as president of Connecticut Bank and Trust Co., N.A., and as banking officer at Chemical Bank in New York City.

Bob Beauchemin, owner of Bob's Best Buys in Williston, has opened Bob's Best Buys II at 397 Patchen Road, South Burlington. Store manager is Julie Robidoux. The store carries new and used merchandise at discounted prices. (802) 862-5202.

Kasandra Jacksen and Jay Lebow have established Integrity Arts International, an art gallery, in the CornerStone Building, 3 Main St., Burlington. The gallery plans to show local and regional artists alongside national and international artists, and to offer lectures, demonstrations and workshops. (802) 860-7000.

Blockbuster Video has placed a new outlet at Commerce Square in South Burlington. It is the video chain's second store in Chittenden County, after its Mall 189 location on Shelburne Road, Burlington, opened in 1994. Tim Burke represented the landlord, Pomerleau Real Estate. Eric Spungin of First Development Corp. assisted the tenant. Negotiations included the leasing of the former Daffodil, a 5,000-square-foot storefront on Williston Road.

Jane A. Van Buren, MPA, announces the opening of Noonmark Consulting at 131 Lyman Ave., Burlington, specializing in the business management of small businesses, non- profits, collectives and joint ventures. The firm writes and reviews business plans, designs and produces brochures, writes marketing plans, prepares financial statements, manages databases and mailing lists, consults on human resource needs and provides financial and tax planning. Ron and Connie Lavallee, owners of Blue Heron Gallery of Champlain Mill, Winooski, and Main St., Stowe, have opened a new location at 100 Dorset St., South Burlington, next to Barnes and Noble. Its focus is on original art by Vermont and regional artists. Artwork by national and international artists is also represented. Custom framing is also available.

Beverly Watson of Isabel's on the Waterfront, her husband, Gordon Watson, and David Fassler of Otter Creek Associates, have established the Willard Street Inn, at 349 South Willard St., Burlington. The inn has 15 unique guest rooms, seven with private baths. Brooks Barton Boardman was responsible for interior design. Rates range from $75-150, and include breakfast and afternoon tea. 651-8710.

Ned L. Davis, director of education at the Vermont Academy of Floral Design in Waterbury Center, has become the first president of the newly formed Vermont Association of Professional Florists. The 10-member association focuses on public and professional floral education, state and national legislation that may influence the state's floral industry, and statewide floral advertising, focusing on flower buying. Eddie Bauer has opened a 5,600-square-foot store on Church Street, Burlington. The company is a mail order house and retailer of sportswear, footwear, and sporting goods. The Church Street location is the company's only store in Vermont. Tim Burke of Pomerleau Real Estate represented the landlord, Prelco Inc. Bill Kiendl of V/T Commercial assisted the tenant.

Pierre Angier, D.O., and Karen Angier, R.N., have established Get Well at Lakewood Commons, 1233 Shelburne Road, South Burlington. The practice offers osteopathic diagnosis and treatment, nutritional counseling, stress management, and therapeutic massage. (802) 660-3110.

SPI Micro Electronics Inc. has opened a Mansfield Factory Outlet in the Essex Outlet Fair in Essex. The firm custom builds computers under the Mansfield brand name. SPI has opened an additional office in Bedford, N.H., to focus on New Hampshire sales and service of Mansfield computers.
